No Bebat fee when purchasing in Germany
For customers in Belgium, the question of the Bebat contribution is often the deciding factor.
If you pick up your order from our location in Germany, we do not charge the Belgian Bebat fee. We also do not charge a comparable Dutch battery tax.
The reason: We sell and deliver the battery in Germany. This means we do not place the battery on the market in Belgium or the Netherlands ourselves.
This can make purchasing an Anker SOLIX home battery in Germany even more attractive than buying one directly in your own country.*

Yes. Under the legal conditions, 0% VAT is possible for in-store pickup in Germany (not for shipping).
When shipping or delivering to other countries, different VAT rules and obligations generally apply. That is why we offer 0% VAT only for in-store pickup.
No. The Bebat fee (Belgium) and similar disposal fees in the Netherlands are charged to the company that places the battery on the market in that country. Since you’re signing the purchase agreement in Germany and picking up the battery there yourself, we’re placing it on the market in Germany, not in the Netherlands or Belgium. Therefore, no Bebat fee or Dutch disposal fee is due at the time of purchase.*
* This applies exclusively to the fee paid at the time of purchase. If the battery is disposed of or recycled later in the Netherlands or Belgium, the local collection system may charge a fee because no contribution was ever made to that system. This is beyond our control.

Yes. The Solarbank functions as a home battery/energy storage system, allowing you to use more of your own solar power from (among other things) plug-in solar panels.
The Anker SOLIX BP2700 is an expansion battery designed to increase your storage capacity (kWh).
With a smart meter, the system can measure your consumption and manage it more efficiently. This helps increase your self-consumption and, if desired, achieve zero net metering (less or no energy fed back into the grid).
Yes, in the app you can set"Third-Party PV."With a smart meter installed, the Solarbank can then detect excess PV from your existing rooftop system and use it to charge the battery.
